This semester, MECH 452 continues to evolve. For the first time, MECH 452 is being taught in conjunction with EE491, the electrical engineering capstone design course.

This course is not just about mechanical engineering. Business, innovation, and entrepreneurship are being stressed as part of the student experience. Students form teams/companies which engage in a semester long project that involves design and/or development of a product or process with emphasis on commercial applications. Teams/companies are encouraged to secure external funding through various local and nationwide companies.
